Project Participants Shared Experience at the University of Bergen Conference
On October 14–15, 2025, Professor Béla Kapossy and Dr. Anastasiia Shevchenko (University of Lausanne) shared their experience from the project Mykhailo Drahomanov and Ukraine’s Intellectual Map of Europe at the international conference The War and Beyond: Perspectives on Ukrainian Culture and Society, organized by the University of Bergen (Norway) within the Ukrainett+ project.
Participants of the Swiss-Ukrainian project presented their experience at the interdisciplinary conference The War and Beyond: Perspectives on Ukrainian Culture and Society, held on October 14–15, 2025, at the University of Bergen (Norway) as part of the Ukrainett+ initiative.
Professor Béla Kapossy and Dr. Anastasiia Shevchenko (University of Lausanne) delivered their presentation during Panel 5B: The History and Future of International Scientific Collaboration (chair: Graham Clure) on Wednesday, October 15. Their talk introduced the project Mykhailo Drahomanov and Ukraine’s Intellectual Map of Europe and highlighted the experience of joint Ukrainian-Swiss collaboration.
The speakers discussed both the challenges faced by the Ukrainian and Swiss teams under current circumstances and the benefits of international cooperation. In addition, they presented the Drahomanov e-Archive, developed within the project, as a successful example of such collaboration and a valuable resource for future research.
